Things to read

I visited with the family in the Franklin, PA area this week, and as is our habit, we went to many yard sales.  I’ve done this many times before, and while I always check the books at the yard sales, normally what I find is lots of romances, a few thrillers, and a sizable number of books about Jesus.  This year, though, we went to one yard sale that had good books.  My faith in the people of western Pennsylvania is sort of restored.  Someone, at least, is reading good books.  So that’s where the last three books on my ‘things to read shelf’ came from.  I hope at least one of them will be wonderful.  If they aren’t, well, they were fifty cents each, and I’ll send them on to the donation bin at the public library.
